Over-thinking things rather deeply to the point where ignorance blinds you from seeing what's right under your nose.

Expecting a real wolf to attack a boy and his herd of sheep, after the boy has falsely cried 'WOLF!' for the 7th time, should be completely ridiculous to anyone clinically sane.

Gambling all your fortune to an unknown share, without expecting a logical result of nothing. Ending up with sheer bankruptcy.

Cowardly calling your mind, the boy, (maybe) the wolf, and the share - idiots.
